Here are the stats for 2011 from a few popular websites with a combined traffic of over 500K unique visitors. This is important stats for web development and design.

We show only top 10 resolutions, the total number of different types of screens for 2011 is 1,453.

According to my site statistics there`s a lot of users with 1680x1050 screen resolution and not that many with 1366x768, but I guess it depends on the average audience.
