In the past we did few researches on most common screen resolutions, and this time we decided to take a look at connection speed in 2009

 

 

Even though around 22% is unknown we can see that over 50% of visitors to both sites are using Cable and DSL and on the third place is T1, Dialup is less than 2%. With this information we can conclude that sites with heavy usage of photos and pictures will work fast for the most visitors, but keep in mind that even if the visitors’ connection speed is fast, web design has to be light and focus on the site content
