Looking at the comparison of 2008 and 2009 we can clearly see that even thought 1024x768 is still most common resolution, percentage of this screen size has dropped dramatically (-6.42%), and in general bigger screens becoming more popular. And designing a website or computer software we have to make sure that it does work properly on 1024x768.

Hello Ben, and thanks for your comment. We are actually in process of redesigning our website. You will see huge improvement.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?

Hi, this is stats for 2009, you can find stats for 2010 here: http://superiorwebsys.com/blog/75/Most_Common_Screen_Resolutions_in_2010/ But 1024x768 is still most popular in 2010.

Yes, you are right but currently most of the people are using LCD and LED, so the best resolution for that is 1280x768. The major monitor manufacturing companies stop manufacturing CST and diverted to only LCD and LED, so as per my view 1280x768 is the best resolution.
